The skill proficiencies for the position are defined below.JOB DESCRIPTIONDevelopment, testing and maintenance of the software productWorking with the architects to translate designs and requirements into more detailed designs, and performing development and testingSupporting development operations functions (DevOps) and participation in computing infrastructure maintenanceAn understanding of sound architecture and software design principals and practical experience implementing these principalsKnowledge and experience with logical and physical database design for both transaction processing applications and analytic/multi-dimensional design environmentsExperience designing, coding and implementing client/server applications, web applications and web services applications within the Microsoft development environmentDeep practical knowledge of MS SQL Server, .NET Framework, C#, and SQL, HTML and JavaScriptYOUR PROFILEMinimum 3 years of Software Development experience Practical experience with a reporting software package and a multi-dimensional analytic software platformA desire to learn the business side of partnership accounting to ensure designs/development are in line with business needs as well as the technical vision for the productA Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experienceDESIRABLE SKILLSExperience with test automation including process aspects, creation of automation test scripts and the supporting tools and technologyExperience with Cloud computing infrastructure and services (i.e. AWS, Azure, etc.)Experience with MS Analytic Services and Reporting ServicesFinancial services industry experience, with a focus in accounting systems supporting the industryABOUT US:Independent and possessing more than fifteen years’ experience in its field, Alter Domus has become a leader in corporate and management services for private equity & infrastructure and real estate funds as well as listed and unlisted companies.
